Summary of what we have learnt
- Importance of the proxemics of the characters in the shot
- Eyeline matches
- The importance of light - we used natural lighting and therefore needed to position the characters differently in that
- The importance of and how to keep the camera still
- Importance of editing the sound and including non - diegetic sound (music)
- Cutting at the right points (not too over or undercut)
- Continuity of costume
- Importance of decent acting skills so as not to make it unintentionally comedic
- How shot angles are important (the canted one was effective whilst others were not)
- Importance of mise en scene (the background etc.)
